  • This program provides employees with a general awareness of hazardous energy and how to control it. Lockout/Tagout refers to the specific practices and procedures that protect employees from the unexpected start-up of machinery and equipment, or the release of hazardous energy during service or maintenance activities.

OSHA Record Keeping

OSHA record keeping rule; OSHA reporting process; record keeping responsibilities

  • Program guides employees through OSHA requirements for record keeping and compliance, as well as distinguishing between OSHA recordable and non-recordable cases and how to make that determination.

Portable Fire Extinguishers

Extinguisher basics and use; P.A.S.S.; maintenance & testing

  • Designed to train individuals in the use of portable fire extinguishers in the workplace. These easy-to-use devices could make the difference between a small emergency and a major catastrophe. The course reviews how to determine when or if an extinguisher is appropriate and explains the Fire Triangle, P.A.S.S. Technique, fire classifications, and types of extinguishers.

Walking and Working Surfaces

Identifying work environment; openings and holes, and stairways; ladders, scaffolding, and elevating platforms This program provides employees with a general awareness of the risk of slips, trips, and falls in the workplace and how to avoid them.

Electrical Safety

  • This training course reviews how electricity works, how to identify electrical hazards at work, and safe work practices.

Exit Routes, Emergency Planning, and Fire Protection

  • This program assists employees with a general awareness of the emergency safety features in the workplace and how to respond during emergency situations, including the importance of having, and understanding, an organization’s Emergency Action Plan and Fire Prevention Plan.

  • This course helps employees understand fall risks in the workplace and how to avoid them.

Hazard Communication

  • This course reviews the dangers hazardous materials present in the workplace and how employees can protect themselves against injury or illness. Also reviews the purpose and obligations of the OSHA Hazard Communication Law, how to interpret warning labels, and the use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • When work practice and engineering controls are not enough to ensure a safe environment, a hazard assessment is performed to determine what personal protective equipment is required to protect a worker’s health and safety. This course presents a thorough understanding of workplace PPE practices including assessment as well as selection, use, and care of the equipment.
