AHA Heartsaver First Aid
The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive.
Course Length: 4 hours.
Intended Audience:
Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well as those who want to learn First Aid. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer's efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.x., corporate employees, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need First Aid training.
Card Type: 2yr Course completion/certification card from American Heart Association.
Written/Skills Exam: Skills exam required.
Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid
The HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, Optional First Aid Topics, and CPR and AED.
Audience
For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for childrens sports organizations.

ASHI Basic First Aid ~ G2010
ASHI Basic First Aid was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond.
